From the Nookie Room

A Nookie Quickie

Cooking for Nookie focuses on the mundane (OK, most people call it ”content”) relationships and spices them up. I have read many, and I do mean MANY,  great books about relationships! But the majority of the books in print focus on creating an understanding between the sexes. The theory is that by creating that understanding it will breed acceptance. (uh, yeah – ok!) Though I agree with the theory, the majority of us aren’t motivated enough to get our PhD in relationships to understand what the other gender is saying.

Simply put, if someone is speaking a foreign language to you, you understand that they are speaking to you because you see their mouth moving and you hear words, but you have no understanding of what those words mean. (Similar to Charlie Brown’s Teacher. . . wa,wa,wa,wa,wa) But unless you study that language, you will never understand what they are trying to say.

The point of Cooking for Nookie is to take the fast food approach to the language of relationships and help both men and women get what they want. . . For the women, it’s about getting her out of her head. For the men, it’s about getting her into bed. (Yeah, men are going to have to do most the work – but look at the prize. Can I get a, Woot Woot!)

I promise that I will show you how to accomplish your goal in simple bulleted list.

Who Am I??

This is ME

This is ME

Hello, Big World!

Thanks for stopping by! A tiny bit about me. . . Formally, I have a B.A. in Communications from Rollins College. That education is the vessel that links all of my informal education together.

The informal summary. . .  I am a cook, a writer, an uncertified relationship counselor (better known as council to my circle of friends), an avid relationship book reader, a talker, a listener, a pharma rep. I speak English, Starbucks, (this language is known to everyone that has ever walked in to a Starbucks and tried to simply order a cup of coffee), & fluent Man (the language that most women are clueless on). A woman who speaks “man,” hmmm! Did I mention that I also love to cook?
